Yes.\u00a0 ExpressMileage’s logs meet or exceed the CRA’s requirements for driving logs.<\/p>\n

The CRA only specifies that you display a log of BUSINESS driving – not PERSONAL.\u00a0 You will still need to know the number of PERSONAL driving KMs in order to calculate the \u201cCalculated Annual Business Use\u201d ( % ) – but according to the CRA, only the BUSINESS drives need to be logged.<\/div>\n

Our driving logs have additional columns not needed by the CRA.<\/div>\n

To remove unnecessary columns (Distance Value, Tolls Parking, Total) – these can be removed by opening the spreadsheet in Excel or Google Docs.\u00a0 Then simply select (highlight) all cells in each column and right click and choose \u201cClear Contents\u201d.\u00a0 This will remove the columns and not impact the formulas.\u00a0 You also may consider deleting or \u201cClearing Contents\u201d of the Business Deduction Rate and Business Deduction Amount columns.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t
